Beginning in childhood, we receive personal, cultural and/or systemic messages that may devalue our embodied goodness, pleasure, wisdom and power. Standing in the way of our full relational and creative aliveness are chronic patterns formed in our past to survive. These live as frozen feelings and history in our bodies and cells and no longer serve us. Radical Aliveness/Core Energetics is a powerful, body-based system that uses techniques from Core Energetics in conjunction with dynamic group process to free frozen feelings and body history. It helps you reconnect with deep parts of yourself that you disconnected from as a child. It uncovers the power and goodness at the source of your most destructive patterns and leads you to connection with your deepest essence.

We encourage group members to follow their impulses in their own work as well as in relationship to other group members. This is a group where you will be encouraged to explore where you hold yourself back, to discover your unique gifts and leadership, to ask for what you really need, and explore relating to others in radically alive and powerful ways. You will work individually and in groups to meet and transform what stands in the way of your full potential for life and passionate expression. New group members are asked to make a minimum 6 session commitment, with the option to continue afterwards. Each group will include a maximum of 12 participants. This group welcomes all ages (please be at least 18 years old), genders (including trans & non-conforming), sexual orientations, body types and abilities, nationalities, and races. This group is for individuals who are open to exploring how you may be holding back your gifts and full authenticity in your relationships, creativity and work in the world. This work is deep, exciting, transformative, respectful, and cathartic. A short advance interview is required if you are new to this work. Other Details: • Please be capable of sustaining energetic movement for short periods of time. • Please arrive 5 minutes early to ring the buzzer and get upstairs. Please leave extra time for parking as sessions will start on time. • There is easy public transit access. Also available are both metered street parking and fixed price parking ($7/night) at the Holiday Inn across the street. There is also a car2go parking lot around the corner. • Bring snacks, water bottle, a pillow, (and pencil and a journal) • Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in (layers are good) • Please come scent free (perfumes, essential oils, hair products etc.) for the comfort and safety of all participants.

About the Facilitator: Jody Holmes, PhD, BIW, BHSP, RA/CCEP is a body based therapist, energy healer and dynamic group process facilitator. She completed 6 years of advanced Brennan Integration Work training (www.barbarabrennan.com) and recently completed her fourth year of training in Radical Aliveness Core Energetics with Ann Bradney in Los Angeles (www.radicalaliveness.com). Jody is also a gifted strategist and negotiator specializing in complex multiparty conflict resolution.
