What we're about

As the premier creative writing circle in Dallas, this group explores writing opportunities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area; forms critique circles; and shares writing resources and talents for personal improvement and the greater good.

We welcome writers of all skill levels, including beginners, and our work spans a wide variety of genres, including poetry, fiction, journals, grant-writing, business-writing, news writing, creative nonfiction, ekphrastic writing, and other types of composition.

Our meetings are non-judgmental events in which we support each other in our writing efforts and provide critique to the extent it is desired.

Unusual Date for the Monthly Critique Brunch

Green Door Public House

NOTE: This is not an April Fool's Joke; we'll meet the second Saturday this month.

Join us for our critique circle and brunch at 10 a.m. at Green Door Pub. Come, listen, offer suggestions and reactions and bring something to read--a brief story or some pages from your novel chapter, a poem, a query letter, etc. We offer whatever type of response you request--a deep drill, ideas for writing through a stuck place or problem, or simply praise and encouragement! All are welcome--any level from beginning writers to published authors.
