**NOTE: DATE CHANGE** Mid-Winter Hike Loop Hike.. 5-7 miles MODERATE PACED HIKE unless trails are snow covered. Great views and stream crossings in this beautiful northern NJ park. **Sign-Up? Show-Up or manage your attendance status Please. Hiking duration, trail difficulty and distance is up to each person and their ability. Know your ability. All ability levels are welcome. **Please comment as to number of ppl attending (bringing a friend?). What you might see: Ecosystems and habitats, stream crossings, marshy areas, waterfalls, lakes, ponds, Glacier Erratics, overlooks and viewpoints, caves and perhaps a black bear, falcon, hawk or a pair of Eagles. What to Bring: The kids AS LONG AS THEY CAN KEEP A MODERATE PACE. Dress in layers For The Weather. Bring water, food/snacks and personal first aid kit in a day pack. Hiking shoe/boot recommended but not nessisary for this hike unless snow covered. If snow covered then traction devices are recommended. Hat/Gloves recommended if it's cool, Camera is definitely recommended. Well trained Dogs allowed that can do the miles intended and must be on a 6' or shorter leash at all times. Meet: 10 am in the Otter Hole Trail Head parking lot on Glenwild Av. We will start the hike by 10:15 **Plan to arive EARLY - be considerate to the group. ***If your running late, let me know via text[masked] by 9:15. I will check them that morning. Understand the group may or may Not wait for your late arrival. Directions: 287 to exit 53 to West on Hamburg Turnpike (route 694) to bear right turn onto GlenWild Av (route 700) to trailhead Cost: Free. Sign up early, number of participants is limited. Inclement weather may postpone/cancel the hike. Agreement: All participants understand there are certain hazards when hiking on any terrain. Please be aware of your surroundings while outdoors. When signing up for this hike you and your guests agree to hold all participants, me and all companies I work for harmless and you and your guests assume all risks while on these events. Your guide carries CPR and Wilderness First Aid certifications and has a first-aid kit while on the hike to assist you in the event you need it. *Side note: my birthday is Feb 4th
