A truly beautiful 4 day trip in these most remote, tranquil, rugged and absolutely spectacular Scottish islands !
Isle of Iona is a very special spiritual island and is vehicle free even ! The walks themselves shall be low level and not particularly difficult.
We shall be walking at times in beautiful woodland or along the coast so the terrain may at times be fairly challenging more than made up the fact that the views all round this island are quite breathtaking !
We shall be flying up to Glasgow on Thursday morning and then travelling to the island by taxi to Dumbarton, 12.53pm train to Oban and ferry crossing.
The same return journey shall be on Sunday afternoon with the train from Oban at 4.11pm arriving at Dumbarton at 6.47pm.
Return flights to Glasgow with Easyjet, very early morning on Thursday any London airport and late evening on Sunday back to Gatwick.
