What we’re about
We Ski II is a club whose members love outdoor recreation. Established in 1979, our membership over the years has become seniors 55 or older who still love outdoor recreation. Some of the activities that we enjoy include biking, hiking, kayaking and snowshoeing. Many of us enjoy traveling as a group to ride in organize bike rides.

Join the Ride of Silence led by the Shasta Wheelmen from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. This ride will start and end at Sequoia Middle School located at 1805 Sequoia Street. This is a 6.4 mile silent group ride moving at a slow pace. Departure time is no later than 7:00pm sharp. The route will wind through the streets of West Redding and include a portion of the Sacramento River Trail. The Ride of Silence honors cyclists killed and those injured while riding on public roads. It raises awareness for motorists to Share the Road and promotes bicycle safety. The Ride of Silence is a world-wide event with over 400 locations participating, mostly in the U.S. All riders who are not members of the Shasta Wheelmen must sign an insurance waiver before the ride.
