NorCal Wild about exploring, hiking, backpacking
NorCal Wild is about hanging out with Mother Nature and is open only to those living in the counties listed below. We are eager newcomers or experienced trekkers who jump in, not just people who join and move on.
We find happiness in a field of wild lupine or in the sapphire blue of an alpine lake; laugh at a scheming marmot; put on a Mona Lisa smile at 15 switchbacks in the low sun of the day's end; unfazed, seek cover in a storm or figure a way across a roaring stream. We never forget to bring whiskey and hot cocoa to warm up on a winter's journey. We are excited and at ease out in the wilds. We play with the wide-eyed energy of child, know our limits and chuckle at them. We play safe and revere Mother Nature.
We intentionally are small, well under 200 active explorers. We are selective and will rely on your responses to make a judgment about membership. We love members new to the outdoors as well as those who claim Grizzly Adams as kin!!! And since there's not enough room to fit us all, we limit membership to residents of northern California -- Shasta, Tehama, Trinity, Siskiyou, Lassen, Glenn, and Butte counties.
Shasta & Siskiyou Spiritual Explorations
Welcome Spiritual Adventurers!
Meet with people who share a passion for spirituality—who seek to have spiritual experiences, such as lucid or significant dreams, out-of-body travel, past life recall, or encounters with spiritual masters— and grow from these experiences, bringing more meaning, purpose and joy to daily living.
We are an open, friendly spiritual community for people of all faiths and backgrounds. Explore your deepest spiritual questions, share your experiences and insights, and gain a greater understanding of your unique spiritual journey.
We have currently suspended physical gatherings in Shasta and Siskiyou counties to honor health and safety. During this time, we are hosting our events virtually on Zoom so you can continue your spiritual explorations. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Redding Ramblers Hiking Group
Redding Ramblers is a Redding hiking group that was formed in the Redding area with the goal of gathering people together to have fun, while getting plenty of exercise and making new friends. Our hikes will vary in length and difficulty and we will be frequenting the local trails, mostly in the Redding area. Depending on the time of year, we may venture further afield to places like Lassen National Park, Castle Crags and the Mt. Shasta area. This is primarily an adult hiking group. By joining this group you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old. Also - unless an event is labeled as family-friendly, please do not bring children under the age of 18. Please be sure to read our Hiking Disclaimer before joining the Redding Ramblers Hiking Group.
MEMBERSHIP: We have a suggested $12 minimum annual membership dues/donation to cut down on non-participation and to assist us in the cost of running our meet-up site, paying for essentials at events we host and the time and effort involved in running an active group. If you would like to lead at least one hike a year, or help in planning hikes/events, your membership dues can be waived. You can pay your membership dues or make a donation to the Redding Ramblers here https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/reddingramblers?locale.x=en_US
In order to keep our group small, we strive to limit our membership to around 100 members. If we're full, we'll add you in as soon as a space comes available. Those who have been inactive for six months or more will be removed from the group to make room for new members.
KIDS: Unless an event is labeled as family-friendly, please do not bring children under the age of 18.
PETS: Our hikes are for adults only and no dogs please (thank you for your understanding). – Not all hikers like dogs and not all trails are suitable for dogs so this is for the safety and comfort of the entire group.

Vaccinated in Shasta County meet up
Mission: We are a group of people who take Covid seriously, but plan to have fantastic joy and laughter with face to face friends. Let’s meet up safely and make friends who are vaccinated. Feel free to reach out and host an event and let's add even more events.
Let's gather for hikes, walks, dinner, drinks, game nights and much much more.
Will pick places that have a lot of airflow and covid policy. As with everything, please use common sense. If you don’t feel comfortable, please don’t come. :-)
Me: Lived 1 mile from the coast guard shut down in NY last March. Glad to be in wide open spaces near family, but I miss having friends I can touch and see in person.

Hello and welcome to Redding’s Adventure Meetup group!
We were formerly called "Redding Adventure's for People 20's 30's and 40"s. As time went on I saw how restrictive limiting our age group was and I apologize for that. It is now a fully inclusive group! Everyone is welcome!
I am working on making everyone a event organizer so they can create their own meetup within this group.
It if free to everyone to create a meetup. You can always ask me questions or need help with anything.
Here we will be doing a wide variety of adventures and outdoor activities. Basically if there is a special event coming up or anything that sounds fun I will schedule a Meetup for it! If anyone has any ideas/suggestions and wants to become an organizer speak up and let me know!
