Started in Los Angeles and coming to San Francisco for WebXR Week, WebXR for Social Good is an event series that brings together professionals and enthusiasts across sectors to explore and share the latest in VR content and tech that is making our world a better place. This event of the series, covers the work of Erika Barraza, Founder/CEO of EVRealities and her work helping content creators. We will also learn about Girls Make VR, a program formed through VRLA, which aims to train girls between the ages of 13 and 18 on how to create virtual reality.
Erika is a social innovator leveraging emerging technologies and Founder/CEO of EVRealities, a secure marketplace for licensing and rights management of VR/AR content. She has worked across multiple industries as an intrapreneur, implementing change management inside organizations to introduce new tech and operational innovations. She is a two time entrepreneur and recipient of Ashoka’s Building Vibrant Communities: Activating Empathy to Create Change award. She is a VR producer and VR creator focused in unscripted VR content. Her goal is to remove barriers to VR/AR creation and distribution.
