Introduction to Lenormand
Make your own divination deck!
I'm a thirty-year Tarot reader. Join me for an introduction to Lenormand. Lenormand is based on the 36-card German playing card deck. It was the first card deck used for divination in the 19th century, named for Madame Lenormand, seer to Josephine Bonaparte.
In this two-hour workshop we will review the basics of the Lenormand system, and spend a little time making our own deck. I have a selection of copyright-free decks for you to print--or you can draw your own on index cards with a pen. Making your own deck infuses it with your energy. We will then practice simple readings and touch on the Grande Tableau.
Unlike some other decks, Lenormand is direct, practical, and is meant to be read in combinations.
If you are thinking of designing your own oracle deck, it's a handy deck to know.
