Divination and the Joyful Voice: A Circle for People's Sadness

Maybe you like to sing, maybe you don’t. Maybe you keep your voice small, or low, or limited in range. Or maybe your voice sparkles every time you speak. What are the ways in which we can open our voices to delight and nutritious words and flamboyant gestures? Where our voice is, is where our bearing is, is where the story that we tell ourselves about ourselves is as well.

Divination of any kind is as much about the quality of voice we bring to our storytelling as it is about ‘seeing.’ This circle is for all people who want to add joy to their voice, as well as diviners and seers who want to open up to new styles of storytelling in their practice. We will be exercising our voices to connect them to feeling, intuition, the heart, and to find the stories our voices really want to tell.
