I was enjoying the fire in a late November camping trip; it was raining and cold.

Cost: $7.00. It is based on 12 person count, when fewer people joined the price goes up a bit.

A weekend camping and hiking trip to explore the trails, caves and high peaks at Pinnacles. There will be two hikes on this weekend trip. The one on the 25th is a join event with three other meetup groups. For details and RSVP use the links below.

On the 25th, the group will meet up at 10:45 am by the visitor center at the east entrance. Please bring your usual hiking gears, plus headlight or flash lights for the caves.

Park entrance fee per vehicle: $5.00
This fee covers entrance by vehicle to both districts of the monument for seven days, and is valid for everyone in the vehicle.

Upon arrival at the park, please check in at the visitor center to get a receipt for the windshield of your vehicle, place your pass on your dashboard signature side up.

Things to Bring

Camping Equipment

• Sleeping Bag.
• Padding if needed.
• Tent.

• Camp chairs

Food

• Water - Enough for your entire stay (1-2 gallons)
• Bring food for your own meals (dinner, breakfast and lunch).
In the spirit of community, please bring any of the following:
juices, sodas, alcohol (beer, wine, hard liquor), chips, candy, fruits, dessert, campfire treats, trailmix, driedfruit, tea, coffee, extra spices, etc.

Personal Items

• Clothing for your entire stay

• Utensil, plates and cups
• Sleepwear
• Headlamp or flashlight

For Hiking & Exploring

• Hiking clothes, layered clothing.
• A pair of hiking shoes.
• Backpack or camelpak.

Cooking Supplies Brought by members:

(Please ask owner for permission if you want to use them)

Lawchung: a pot for boiling water and steaming vegetables, a frying pan and a burner.
Theresa: 3 burners.

Campground Information
Campground facilities include:
showers
garbage and recycling containers
comfort stations
dump station
amphitheater for campfire programs

We are renting two family size camp sites good for 12 people and each has two parking spots. Each site has a picnic tables and a fire ring.
