Mindful Mondays with the Warriors
Since mindfulness has the power to transform our lives, I am excited to share that the Irvine Heritage Park Library will continue Mindful Mondays from 5:15 - 6:15pm through December. The description reads: "Relax with simple guided meditations led by Karina De Allicon, UCLA Mindfulness Facilitator, followed by creative coloring over a cup of tea. Attend one or attend them all! No RSVP required." FYI-- There are actually 2 parts to the session. The first half is devoted to the formal practice of guided meditation. The second is the informal practice of being mindful while engaged in coloring &/or conversation. You are welcome to attend either one or both. *You may wish to bring a light cardigan or long sleeve since the AC had been going pretty strong during summer, although it might be different in the fall. Layers would be a good bet. Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? And, it's free! What more could you ask for? Even though the library doesn't require us to register, please RSVP here if you plan to attend so we can "meet up." Hope you can make it!

    What we're about

    A "Wellbeing Warrior" is someone who desires and strives to improve their wellbeing by taking a proactive holistic approach to their health. Well-being is defined as the state of being happy, healthy, or successful. The awesome thing is, there are so many resources available to us. Some of the mind, body, spirit topics we will cover include:

    The goal is to strengthen our health to increase our longevity, delay and prevent the onset of disease, and to increase our life satisfaction.
