Details
This time we will focus on the topic of Breath-First Search and Depth-First Search (only applies for Easy, Medium, and Advanced levels)
We will have 4 levels of difficulties:
- Beginner (CodeWars 7, 8 kyus - coding basics)
- Easy (Leetcode Easy problems)
- Medium (Leetcode Medium problems)
- Advanced (Leetcode Medium or Hard problems)
Attendance policy:
Please only sign up if you are absolutely sure you will attend and want to participate. If you do need to cancel, it is crucial that you change your RSVP so that others may take your spot. Additionally, if you must cancel the day of the event, we ask that you message either Jordan or Tricia in addition to changing your RSVP. This event is typically waitlisted, so multiple no call/no shows and/or late cancels (less than 24-hour notice) will result in being banned from the group.
Are you a mid-senior dev or industry professional interested in volunteering? Please message Tricia directly for details and registration.

Prerequisites:
Attendees should have fundamental knowledge of at least one coding language, such as (but not limited to) JavaScript, PHP, Python, C++, or Java. This includes understanding concepts like variables, functions, arrays/lists, loops, etc.
Please review the following article before the meetup if you are unfamiliar with, or need to review the basics of, whiteboard interviews:

What we do:
Practice solving algorithmic coding problems with technical peers using “oral recitation.” Oral recitation is a learning strategy that involves verbally reciting information with the ultimate goal of learning and retaining it. Participants take turns individually solving a problem on a dry-erase board, while a “peer-proctor” provides clarification, answers questions, gives a few hints and provides constructive feedback. There are no wrong answers!
About the venue:
EvoNexus is a Southern California tech incubator located in San Diego and Irvine. They have graciously allowed us to use their amazing office space, for which we are very grateful! More information about EvoNexus can be found on their website at https://evonexus.org/.
If you are interested in working with one of the companies in the EvoNexus incubator, please feel free to bring a copy of your resume to the meetup. Though we cannot guarantee the availability of open positions or employment, it is a great opportunity to get your information in front of some awesome startups!
Agenda:
The first two hours (7:00 - 9:00) will be spent on strategy and working through problems, and participation is required for all attendees. The final hour (9:00 - 10:00) is solution review/in-person help/networking and is optional. Solutions will be sent to all participants within about a week following the event when possible.
