Rise Up & Sing!

Wholehearted community chorus is open to all singers. We are based in Monterey and Big Sur, CA, led by Lisa “Littlebird” Goettel.

Our diverse 50+ members sing uplifting group harmony songs and chants learned by oral tradition from around the world. All voices are welcome and absolutely no music or singing experience is required. We are a non-audition, heart-led, joy-based choir on the Central California coast.

Wholehearted meets all year and weekly classes are open to all new and returning singers, offered by donation ($10-20 suggested.) We have a spring concert season in which we learn a distinct group of new songs that culminate in two concerts. This season runs from February 1 until May 11, 2016. You are very welcome to come check us out anytime.

This is an established group that has been meeting weekly for years and most participants aren't on Meetup. Most weeks we have 30+ singers. There is also a Big Sur group that meets on Wednesdays at 5:30pm. We welcome you into our open-hearted community.

This circle is offered by donation. ($10-20 requested.) No one is ever turned away for lack of funds.

IMPORTANT! FINDING US: Despite the address, Evolution Studio is not accessible from OceanView Blvd. or the Tin Cannery Mall. The entrance is located on Sloat Ave., the one-way street behind the mall. There's a map with directions and parking information at the bottom of this page:
