WINDY CITY DADS is a diverse and welcoming community for Chicago-land fathers living in the city and suburbs. We believe in active parenting, shared experiences and building a supportive network. Whether you are a new dad or seasoned pro, join us as we navigate fatherhood together.
Please note: this group is strictly for Dads, we understand sometimes wives will join for their significant others but we encourage all fathers to join our group on their own accord, it takes few minutes to setup their own meetup profile. We want this group to be a comfortable place for all Dads to learn and talk about anything dad related.
Our Windy City Dads Group is FREE to join and attend meetup events. Some meetups will have a cost to participate but everyone can pay their own way is what we found out works the best.

Family Outing @ Sweet Baby Rays BBQ + Disc Golf (Wood Dale)
Sweet Baby Ray's, 249 E. Irving Park Road, Wood Dale, IL, USCome out and join some of your fellow Windy City Dads Group members for a fun FAMILY OUTING on Saturday July 11th for BBQ Lunch and Disc Golf.
Here's the plan... @ 1:00 PM we are going to meetup at Sweet Baby Rays BBQ, located in Wood Dale for BBQ lunch then head over to the nearby Walnut Disc Golf Course, located at 1150 N Walnut Ln, Schaumburg to play a FREE round of 9-hole DISC GOLF (aka Frisbee Golf).
If you never played Disc Golf before, you definetly need to try it out. If you don't have any Discs then you can buy a beginer set on Amazon and most sporting good stores for about $40 or just bring a few frisbees for you to use.

Family Outing @ Putters Peak Mini Golf + Dessert (Addison)
Putter's Peak Miniature Golf, 950 W Lake St, Addison, IL, USWe invite you and your family to come out & join us for another fun FAMILY OUTING with some of your fellow Windy City Dads Group members.
This specific event is intended for families but we also welcome you to come alone if your kids are not interested or not available and this could be a fun date night out too.
Here's the plan... @ 6:30pm lets meetup at Putters Peak Mini Golf in Addison and then after mini golf, walk over to the Dappers Restaurant located next door for dessert, they have a large selection of pies and cakes from the bakery case to choose from.
For those of you who have your own Windy City Dads Group MERCHANDISE, please wear your SHIRT or HAT to this meetup! If you haven't ordered yours yet, please take this opportunity to look thru our online store and place your order - which does a few things... HomeDadCon - Chicago 2026 (Oct.1-3)

HomeDadCon 2026 will be held in Chicago from October 1–3, 2026, featuring three days of networking, workshops, and support for at-home dads. Tickets are available now, with general admission priced at US$300 (before July 1) or US$335 (late registration), covering programming and select meals.

- Highlights: Keynote speakers (including Dr. Anna Machin), breakout sessions, and networking.

Ticket Information

- Late Admission ($335): Available after July 1 until August 1, 2026.
- Refund Policy: No refunds are available within 60 days of the event.
