About the chef Luca Pucciani:

Luca Pucciani?s passion for cooking began when he was a child. He loved to prepare breakfast for his family and got satisfaction out of the smiles his food brought to the loved ones. So he decided to push this passion to a higher level.

After graduating from a culinary school, Luca Pucciani worked in Tuscany for 7 years and decided it?s time to venture out of Italy. First stop was Australia where he worked for one year as sous chef. When he heard about the beauty of Asia he got a wandering foot again and landed in Singapore.

Pucciani started here with the Garibaldi group and worked for two years in fine Italian cuisine. He was consequently employed by Gunther?s as sous chef for three years.

When he is thinking back about his younger days, he decided to bring back the memories he used to carry when he was young: Sharing the flavors of Tuscany and bringing smiles into people faces. Hence he opened his very own Da Luca Italian Restaurant.
