This class will be a fun and informative way to learn how to get your bearings in the wilderness, and accurately understand your surroundings. In addition to introducing the 30 ways to navigate (http://www.wolfcollege.com/top-10-list-of-natural-navigation-lostproofing-orienteering-tips-tricks-advice/) in the wilderness, we will be using fun and entertaining games and activities to practice and learn these new skills, which you will be able to use for the rest of your life. Of course, we will also train you on the special Wolf College 4 Step Method of using Map & Compass (http://www.wolfcollege.com/how-to-use-a-compass-using-map-compass/).
Please note that this class will begin at the main park entrance ROTUNDA SHELTER off NW Sammamish Rd, at 1:30 sharp, and end at the Hans Jensen Group Camp, 4460 East Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE across from the boat launch, with a shuttle van back to the rotunda by 3:45. Adults as well as families with children 5 and up are invited. Younger children may attend for free, with the understanding that an enrolled parent may have to go in and out of class as needed when lecture or activities are not age appropriate. Expect a class that provides you with generous information, hands-on experiential learning, and heart-felt inspiration. We look forward to a fun class of navigation training with you!
