In this class, you'll get a crash course in building a simple React app. Join us to expand your skillset!

What this class will cover:

• App-building concepts including data flow, user interfaces, business logic, separation of concerns and basics of functional programming

• Hands-on and guided project building to build a basic app in one evening.

• Resources for continuing learning beyond the workshop.

Prerequisites:

This Meetup is for beginners and does not require prior programming experience.

Participants who are familiar with HTML, Javascript and/or Jquery will be better equipped to apply their skills after the conclusion of this Meetup.

** Ideally, have git installed on computers beforehand **

• How to get a React app configured

• Best practices for developing React Apps

• ES6 and JSX basics

• Major React design patterns

She received her BS in Civil Engineering and graduated from Coder Camps' fullstack Javascript program in 2015.
