Code for the Kingdom is a weekend hackathon for techies, designers, and entrepreneurial starters. Using technology, we tackle from a Christian perspective the challenges confronting our society, our churches, and our spiritual lives.

Fatherlessness

How can technology help alleviate and/or combat the effects of fatherlessness in a child’s life, in turn strengthening families, reducing poverty and crime?

Human Trafficking

How can an individual, a family, a ministry, or the Crowd fight technologies used by human traffickers with Technology for Good? How can we knock off a small corner of Darkness?

Poverty

What if Crowdsourcing, and in particular Impact Sourcing, could be leveraged by the Church and Christian non-profits to bring jobs to the poor?

How do we leverage technology within our local church and/or network of churches to release and accelerate great ideas from every member of the congregation?

Join an incredible group of individuals who are applying their skills and experiences to advance common good and serve God’s Kingdom. In collaboration with innovative nonprofits and churches, we’ll write code and create technology to help release the oppressed, teach God’s Word, heal the sick, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and support the church and the body of Christ. Make a difference by writing much-needed code or designing beautiful interfaces. Find a community of peers who want to have fun while serving the Lord.
