Becca Shayne (https://twitter.com/bec) is currently the Brand Designer at Lookout (http://lookout.com/). She grew up in San Francisco, then moved east, earning her BFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2012. She also spent 7 months in Barcelona at a prestigious design school, Elisava. Prior to Lookout, she spent time designing for Levi’s, Michael Osborne Design, and Pearlfisher. She has a deep interest in rich culture, language, travel, and food. She’s writing a cookbook (http://thetypekitchen.com/), and she also keeps a design blog (http://graphdes.com/). Passionate about typography and technology, she’s always aiming to push the limits of what is possible with design, as well as grow her own skills and strengths. She’s a huge nerd and loves talking about design, both in person, and on twitter (https://twitter.com/bec).
Jennifer Lopez, Design Thinking Strategist at Capital One, believes in design. While many people make products with the user in mind, she believes in the power of creating products that place the user at the heart of the experience. Her goal is to make experiences that change people’s lives in a positive way. After touring too many companies to count, she found Capital One Labs was the only place making a big bet on design and a bigger bet on delivering for their customers. So, she joined the Labs on an incredible adventure to transform finance.
