WWCode Silicon Valley presents next session in panel discussion series with WalmartLabs.

The topic of discussion this time around is 'Journey to Cloud' - what all needs to be considered to transition into cloud. Where and how to start this long journey of transitioning from current system into the cloud system.
All beginners to Cloud are welcome to come learn with us.
Our event is held at WalmartLabs during lunch hour.

Jennifer is Director of Strategic Partnership and is primarily focused on our relationship with Azure and GCP.

Panelist 1 : Aarthi Raju
Aarthi Raju is a Principal Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services who is passionate about Cloud Computing. In her current role at AWS, she focuses on providing architecture guidance for customers who are moving to the cloud or helping them build a hybrid cloud. Prior to this, she worked as a Sr. Technical Account Manager supporting AWS enterprise customers acting as their advocate within AWS and helping them build applications using AWS services. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Networking from Wichita State University, Kansas. She loves building things and traveling, so you can find her often doing home projects with IoT or traveling the world speaking at technical conferences. Panelist 2 : Naveed Farooqui
Naveed Farooqui leads the Core Platform team in Verizon Smart Cities. Netsense is an AWS based highly scalable and distributed IOT platform that ingests data from millions of devices in the field. The platform powers several vertical solutions in the areas of smart city sustainability efforts around transportation, mobility, lighting and public safety. Prior to Verizon, Naveed was the Director of Engineering at Financial Engines, an online investment advisor. Personally Naveed is passionate about mentoring, coaching and continuous learning through a variety of channels (moocs, technical blogs on Medium, meet-ups and good old fashioned technical books)

Panelist 3 : Ravinder Lota
Ravinder is Distinguished Architect, Engineering in Global Data team and is also working very closely in the whole public cloud migration. She will bring in a very different perspective of moving to cloud from data standpoint.
