Interested in learning why an embedded server is better than standalone? Join us for a hands-on workshop on Spring Boot, where we will collectively work through a series of exercises to build a Spring Boot application from scratch.
This workshop is facilitated by our network Director Purnima Kamath.

7.00 - 7.15 PM: Updates from Women Who Code & Host Introduction
7.15 - 7.45 PM: Hands on workshop
7.45 – 7.55 PM: Break
7.55 – 8.20 PM: Hands on workshop
8.20 - 8.30 PM: Final remarks & networking
This event is intended for everyone who aims to support & inspire women in technology.
• What to bring
Please bring your laptops with some pre-requisites installed:
- Java 8
- Git & Maven 3.3+
- IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse (based on your preference)
- Google Chrome with Postman extension (Good to have)
- Heroku account & Heroku CLI (optional if you would like to deploy your solution to cloud)
