Attab Haddad Quintet
 Attab Haddad
Oud player, Attab Haddad's, latest project brings you original compositions and a dazzling fusion of Flamenco, Middle Eastern and Jazz.
Drawing on firm roots in both Middle Eastern music and Flamenco, Haddad's compositions describe an instrumental journey through Andalusia and the Middle East, resulting in a sound that can only be described as his own.
The group gigs in different formations of its members, and is made up of some of some of the UKs finest musicians in their respective fields. They draw on diverse influences ranging from Flamenco to Jazz to Arabic to world rhythms, but gel together to create a homogeneous whole whose sound is a natural evolution of modern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern instrumental music.
Attab Haddad has collaborated with countless artists in many genres as co-composer, producer, musician and session player and featured as a guest on various albums. He is a key member of the contemporary Flamenco group Candela and Classical crossover group The Sabina Rakcheyeva Ensemble, as well as being a founding member of the successful Flamenco fusion band Alcazaba. His work has featured on BBC Radio 3, Radio Scotland and Resonance FM as well as on various Middle Eastern TV Channels and he has performed in the UK, Europe, USA, Middle East and India to much acclaim.
