(SF) How and Why One Company Built a Documentation App, with Ember.JS

Details

PRESENTATION:
Why did Synopsys decide to use Ember.js, a JavaScript framework, to build a unique app for presenting documentation? The engineers and docs team collectively have extensive hands-on experience with DITA, static site generators and other tools, but chose to build a custom application for this project.

Attend this talk to find out:

  • How Synopsys identified this architecture as the best one for the project.
  • How the app was built and how it functions
  • How technical writers create and maintain the documentation (Hint: It involves DITA)

Guests will be required to register with Synopsys -- This means providing your name and place of employment for the name badge you'll receive when you arrive. We'll be able to register one or two last-minute attendees at the door, however when you RSVP, please go to the Google form and provide your info:
