Write/Speak/Code: Speak your Talk!
Note: This meetup is only for coders who identify as a woman or non-binary. Get ready to speak your talk! Think of it like a mini-conference, except we support you and your talk instead of having your talk support us. This is intended to function as a warm, supportive space for our speakers to try out new material and get helpful feedback to incorporate for their next round of speaking! We are looking for speakers! If you're interested, sign up here (https://goo.gl/forms/PIMuaYw84IvCigo03) and send us a Meetup message. :) As an extra, a video recording of your talk for you to take home can be set up upon request. Let us know in advance and we'll do the planning. Free dinner will be provided, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options! Schedule: 6:30-6:50 - Dinner and Meet & Greet 6:50-7:00 - Host talk 7:00-7:15 - Intro on giving good feedback, assigning roles, and splitting into groups 7:15-9:00 - Split into 2 tracks! Speaker Lineup TBA Thank you to our friends at *Optimizely* for sponsoring food and location for this meetup!

What we're about

Write/Speak/Code is on a mission to increase the visibility and leadership of SF women and non-binary coders* through thought leadership, conference speaking, open source, self-care, career mentorship and more.

We define coders as anyone who has written a line of code and can explain what it does, including developers, designers, data scientists, e-book publishers, and more.

All attendees, speakers, mentors, etc., are expected to abide by the Write/Speak/Code Code of Conduct (https://www.writespeakcode.com/index.html#code-of-conduct).
