Anyone who wants to take their communication, leadership skills to the next level is welcome. Wry Toastmasters is a learning lab with a supportive environment.
Meetup Group membership:
We apply a "Know Your Guest" process (similar to "Know Your Customer" in the financial industry but much lighter) to any new applicants to Wry's Meetup group. We may restrict Meetup group membership to local guests and existing Toastmasters. If you're far away from our location but you're an existing Toastmaster and would like to visit us, we will want to verify that you're an existing (present or past) Toastmaster. One way is to message co-organizer Alex your last name & {TI member ID or email you use with TI}. In addition, we may request a video-conference meeting to meet you before admitting to the Meetup group.
Please enable messages on Meetup because that is the way we will communicate with you in order to process your application to the Meetup group. Also, please respond to the messages you receive preferably sooner than later. Applications may be declined if messages are not responded to but you can almost always resume responding to your messages and go through the admission process and when cleared to join, apply then for a smooth admission. We detect & report fake or impersonating Meetup profiles to authorities to support a safe & supportive environment on Meetup.
