Morning Yoga - for Gay and Bi Men
‘The tree that bends doesn't break.' Are you curious about how yoga could benefit you? Flexibility, strength, power, calmness, clarity and peace can all be found in a yoga practice. If you're looking to try it out, or return to something you used to enjoy, come along to this morning class to start your day off right and feel energised and relaxed for the rest of it. And if you don’t have to get your stretched out self to work, hang around for chai and chat afterwards. Make connections... to yourself and to other men. All levels are welcome as options and modifications will be given. Thursdays 7.30 to 8.30am £15 drop in or buy a block of 6 for £72 Places are limited so you will need to book and pay in advance. Andy Butterfield is a yoga and meditation teacher and shiatsu therapist and helps people to connect deeply into their lifeforce, honour and feel at home in their bodies and know peace in their minds and hearts. He is passionate about creating community and holding a safe, relaxed and meaningful space for gay and bi men to meet and explore intimacy, connection and joy. He has taught mindfulness for 6 years and practiced yoga asana for 12 and it was on his mat in a class a few years ago, that he realised what yoga had come to mean to him and that he had to share its treasures with others. “Some of my most peaceful, joyful, loving and empowered moments have arisen on the mat. For me it is the path towards true and total freedom, the path home, the path on which I learn, serve and love.” Contact Andy to book your place in class on[masked] • What to bring Bring a yoga mat if you have one, otherwise spares are available.
