Yoga in the Park – Denver is a grassroots community that brings together like-minded yogis who love practicing in the tranquility of nature, all while making yoga accessible to everyone, no matter the experience level or financial position. Enjoy vinyasa-style yoga flows that will leave you feeling grounded, relaxed, and connected to nature. Yoga in the Park classes are appropriate for all levels of yoga and are 100% donation-based! You can expect a nice balance of meditation, breathing techniques, active standing sequences, and gentle restorative poses. Modifications are always offered to help you find the right amount of challenge and ease for your practice.

Yoga in the Park - Denver: 2022 Season Kickoff & potluck

Please join us and the Yoga in the Park community for our very first class of 2022 in City Park! Your instructors of the season will lead you through an hour yoga practice under the green trees and beautiful Denver sky.

We'll meet in our usual shady spot by City Park's Graham-Bible House, near the intersection of 20th Ave. & York St., across the street from Syrup, Please bring our own yoga mat.

This Meetup is all about creating community and practicing in nature, and we’d love to meet you! Come to get to know your instructors of the season and hear about our events for the summer. Also open to hear your ideas as we create the schedule.

Shine! Yoga retreat in Sweden

Celebrate the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, Swedish-style! Honor the seasonal shift by aligning with the energies of abundance and opportunity. Retreat from your busy life to rejuvenate mind, body and spirit in a beautiful lake-side village called Lerum. Learn about the Swedish art of balanced living, “lagom”, make flower crowns, and enjoy daily yoga and meditation, wellness workshops, nourishing organic meals, nature walks in the nearby forest and canoeing on the lake. Return home feeling re-energized, reconnected, and recentered.

Our group will be together in a cozy house with 14 private bedrooms (each with its own bathroom!) a communal living area, and our own yoga space, where daily classes and workshops will take place. True to Scandinavian design, the vibe can be described as "elegant simplicity" that combines minimalism with lots of wood element, natural light and bright spaces.

Breakfast and lunch will be served community (buffet ) style in the main event building, alongside other guests who may not be part of our retreat. Dinners will be enjoyed privately with our retreat group in a wine cellar! With an appropriate amount of notice, we can accommodate any dietary need or restriction.

Fika (Swedish coffee break) will be provided daily, and includes fresh coffee, tea, and delicious Swedish treats!

Join us for a traditional Midsummer festival the day of the Summer Solstice, June 24. In Sweden, Midsummer is of the same importance as Christmas or Easter is in other countries. It is a celebration of the new season, life, love and community

Free airport transfers are available from Göteborg Landvetter Airport to the retreat center.

Sofie and Isabel share a love of yoga, wellness, community, and culture. Over the years we've enjoyed collaborating on various yoga events, including outdoor classes through Yoga in the Park, a summer solstice celebration, and a retreat in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. We're thrilled to join forces again for the Shine! Summer Solstice retreat in Sweden!
