SAT-JUL-26----> Kayak 4 MILE RIVER to Enjoy a *BEACH DAY* + Potluck BBQ after

Hi Everyone,
Unload and start packing at 10 am. Start Paddle to destination 10:30 am.

USE APPROXIMATELY # 25 OAKRIDGE DRIVE, OLD LYME CT to get you close enough and follow the BROWN colored boat ramp signs ..drop off kayaks in the circle's grassy areas avoiding the drunk power-boaters while unloading kayaks --- then go park in the back lot.

The Beach area is to the EAST=FAR LEFT when going out under the bridge.

Tide: Approximate HIGH 12:43 pm ------ LOW 6:45 pm

This is a "Beach Day" at a NICE beach area.

Bring your sunscreen, water, umbrella's / shelter and beach chair..

PotLuck BBQ after paddling and loading up is nearby at ( The Roadside Pichic area) or # 336 FERRY ROAD, Old Lyme by DEP MARINE Headquarters and a small pavilion by the river called FERRY LANDING STATE PARK .

Bring some good pot luck foods...

Grill and accessories loaded up.
