One day trip to Smögen

Located on a small island, in the heart of Bohuslän, Smögen is home to the most famous pier in all of Sweden. Every year it draws thousands of visitors. Lined with colorful fishing cottages and old boat houses converted into cozy cafés and shops, taking a stroll on the 600-meter-long pier is like walking in a postcard. The town truly comes alive during summer as the population grows from around 2000 people to over 30000 during peak season.
We get together at 9:20 at Nils Erikson bus terminal in front of the gate for bus 861, departs at 9:35, towards Smögen, it takes 2 hours and 15 mintues to get to Smögen bus station.
We take the bus at 17:15 or 19:15 to get back to Göteborg.
You need to have tickets for zones A and B and C. Or summer ticket.
We take a walk to explore the city and islands for more or less for 2 hours or 10 kilometers.
It's a medium-paced city walk. Neither fast nor slow. and we take a few long rests to enjoy the nature surrounding us.
The whole event might take 12 hours.
we'll have a picnic in Smögen. To take a swim, play music and enjoy the warm and sunny summer day and to have fun.
Bring your swim-stuff and summer outfits like sunglasses and summer hat.
It's a city and island walk. The route is hilly and rocky in some parts. But it's ok with normal walking sneakers.
Bring enough enough water, tea, coffee or snacks with you. You can also buy them at the cafe or shops in Smögen.
