Talk 1: Building Systems for Brains: Neurodiversity, Sustainable Performance, and the Hidden Architecture of

We spend our careers designing robust systems.
Scalable infrastructure. Clean architecture. Fault tolerance. Observability.
Yet when it comes to humans, we often rely on willpower and vague policies.
In this talk, I explore what happens when we apply systems thinking to neurodiversity and performance.

As a pharmaceutical leader working in highly regulated, high-stakes environments and as a neurodiversity coach with lived experience of ADHD, I have seen the same pattern repeatedly: brilliant engineers and leaders burning out inside systems that were never designed for cognitive diversity.

This session moves beyond awareness and into architecture.

We will explore:
What neuroscience actually tells us about attention, executive function, and cognitive load
Why burnout is often a systems failure, not a personal weakness
How masking impacts performance and innovation
What “inclusive leadership” means in operational reality

Practical structural adjustments teams can implement immediately

We will look at software metaphors. Buffers. Load balancing. Latency. Error handling.
Because sustainable performance is not about pushing harder. It is about designing smarter.

If we can design resilient distributed systems, we can design resilient teams.

Talk2: Building a Tech Startup: Lessons from a Developer’s Journey

Building a startup is rarely a straight line, it’s a mix of ambition, uncertainty, small wins, painful mistakes, and constant learning.

In this session, I’ll share a candid, real-world journey of building a startup from idea to execution. We’ll talk about how ideas evolve, what actually happens after the initial excitement fades, and how technical decisions, people, timing, and resilience play a much bigger role than most “startup success stories” admit.

This is not a motivational talk filled with buzzwords. Instead, it’s an honest breakdown of:

- How the idea started and how it changed over time

- The early technical and product decisions (and the ones I’d do differently today)

- Balancing engineering quality with speed and survival

- How to work with other people in collaboration which leads to best results.

- What it really feels like to build while figuring things out as you go

- Forming and hiring the best tech teams at a very early stage.

The session is aimed at developers, engineers, and technologists who are curious about startups — whether they want to found one, join one, or simply understand how products are built beyond the codebase.

Expect lessons learned, mistakes shared openly, and plenty of space for questions and discussion.
