A Proper Film Club is a brand new monthly, discussion-led film club for people who love watching movies and talking about them.
Think of it as a book club for cinema: each month, we select a film to watch in advance, then meet in person to unpack it.
We'll be leaning more toward independent and international films.

We’re less interested in hot takes and more interested in why specific moments stay with us.
Using a projection screen, members are invited to share a favorite (or problematic) scene and articulate what they loved, questioned, or couldn’t shake about it. Disagreement is welcome; curiosity is required. This group is for anyone with a passion for film.
