We are fortunate to have snagged time with Shawn Lauriat Google Software Engineer leading accessibility for Google Docs and Drive. It is from this perspective that Shawn will discuss the development challenges he has been facing and the solutions he has implemented, making such apps accessible and usable to users with disabilities. Bring your own experiences and questions about implementing accessibility into modern web apps (i.e., those using JavaScript and dynamic content) to this session. Shawn has a wealth of knowledge and an approachable speaking style that will make this night one we will all leave having learned a lot.

Most recently, Shawn has presented on this topic at the 2014 Boston Accessibility Conference and at Knowbility's AccessU this past May, to packed rooms. I'm more than thrilled he has agreed to do it for a11yBay, considering his busy Google I/O schedule.

Many thanks to for hosting this session.
