What we're about

The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is a fantastic hub for digital accessibility and inclusive design.

#a11yTO welcomes everyone to our community at our Meetups, Camp, and accessibility in general. Our goal is to provide a place for you to learn, share your experiences, ideas, and solutions and collaborate on building a more inclusive web.

If you're interested in accessibility and inclusive design, this is your home. We try to meet once a month for presentations, tech talks, demos and more.

We post updates on Twitter @a11yTO (https://twitter.com/a11yTO), and we'd love for you to connect with us on Facebook (http://facebook.com/a11yTO).

Watch Party with Sarah Higley: Finding Root Causes

Online event

We hope your April is wonderful.

Please join us for our second of many virtual meetups.

On April 21, Sarah Higley will be there with you to discuss the root cause for accessibility bugs.

Automated and manual accessibility testing can surface all manner of existing accessibility problems. Learn tools, tips, and tricks for debugging accessibility issues and trace the bug to its root to find where it started.

Sarah Higley is a web developer at Microsoft and is happiest when working on weird web components. Sarah is always listening to or participating in rants about accessibility, the importance of front-end skills, and diversity in tech.
