In this talk, John Wang provides an overview of SenseiDB (an open source distributed database he helped author and architect), which is powering the LinkedIn homepage along with all its search properties. John will do a deep-dive into the guts of SenseiDB and discuss use cases.
About the Presenter
John Wang built the search infrastructure at LinkedIn powering its search properties and the home page. Prior to LinkedIn, John worked on Yahoo!'s social search infrastructure and built the first version of SimplyHired's job search system.
Recently, John has joined Twitter to working on the most challenging realtime search system in the world.
