We're back in 2016 and ready to talk about more hardware!
This month we are pleased to welcome Philip Freidin, creator of OSHchip (http://oshchip.org). It is a small 16 pin chip that emulates older DIP package parts. However, it packs a punch with an NRF51822 onboard, making it a wireless, programmable chip. The entire design is open source hardware. Philip will discuss the two views on how to use such a chip in creating either early stage projects or more complicated chip designs.
We are also pleased to welcome Jesse Vincent, founder of Keyboardio (http://shop.keyboard.io/). It is a modular, mechanical, "Heirloom-grade" keyboard. It was designed from the ground up and will serve as a customizable, comfortable to interact with the digital world. Coming from the software realm, Jesse will share some of the things learned in the early days of a hardware startup.
As always, we welcome attendees to give 2 minute talks about their projects and companies (please see the organizers to get set up when you arrive).
Food and beer will be provided, you bring the nerdy conversation about hardware.
Look forward to seeing you all there!
