Intvo: Strengthening Safety and Trust for Autonomous Vehicles with AI

Join us at the SPARK East Innovation Center as we welcome guest speaker Assam Alzookery of Intvo, a startup located in Ann Arbor with a dedication to using artificial intelligence to improve road safety. Assam will be speaking about the company and Intvo's goal to support Ann Arbor's Vision Zero commitment.

He will also discuss in greater detail the launch of its pilot with the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI). Within this pilot, Intvo’s software will improve accuracy and provide earlier detection and prediction of pedestrian movement in the crosswalk and broadcasts an alert about the presence of a pedestrian to any DSRC-equipped vehicle (like the ones in the UMTRI Safety Pilot and autonomous vehicles currently or operating in the future in Ann Arbor).

v. Riverside Lot (D) offers free off-street parking with no restrictions. It is two streets away from SPARK East
