Choosing the right automation tool(s) for the problem at hand

Details

A question that comes up in QA forums is, "which is the best automation tool for [insert problem here]". There is almost always a tongue-in-cheek response of "they're all the best" which of course is correct because each tool is meant to specialize in one or two things. The problem is paring down the list to best fit YOUR needs.

Let's spend this Meetup session discussing the thought process involved in deciding which tool(s) to use for a given problem. This will not be a flame war about tool-A vs. tool-B but rather an understanding of the thought process used to decide which one(s) fit your current needs.

Here are a few variables that we'll discuss: price, support, learning curve, maintenance.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Cheers!
