Exciting times on August 20, as we bring our meetup into a new space —The Show Room — inside the Arts Centre Melbourne’s fabulous Theatres Building. We'll have DOUBLE the seating, a bigger sound system, a foyer and bar (open from 6:30) and more time for Track Feedback! We’ve enlisted two of our staple patrons as presenters, to help us raise the curtain in the new space.
First up, FDH (Fletcher Dobson-Harper) will illuminate the sound design and arrangement tactics beneath his recent track Carruthers.
Then, commercial sound designer evolsleep (aka Alexander Nezhinskiy) will demonstrate how he turns visuals into sound, finds the spark for musical ideas and moves through creative blocks.
Our staple segment Track Feedback has really taken off lately and it’s clear the community loves it. We're excited to say that we now have more time allocated! To submit your track, find the 'Track Feedback' channel on our Discord. Tracks will be chosen at random on the evening, then the guest presenters and the (supportive!) community will offer with productive feedback.
