About us
Above the Canal Dinner Club is for adults in Northern Delaware who want to meet new people in a way that actually feels natural.
Instead of showing up to a giant mixer and hoping for the best, members take a quick personality and preferences quiz. From there, we create small dinner groups of six people who are likely to click. On event night, you show up at your assigned restaurant, have dinner with your table, and enjoy real conversation with people you did not know before. There is also an optional after-party where everyone can mingle after dinner.
This group is built for people who want friendship, connection, and community without the awkwardness of traditional networking events or huge social meetups. Some members are new to the area, some are looking to expand their circle, and some just want a better way to meet interesting people nearby.
You do not need to come with anyone. You just need to be open to a good conversation and a new experience.
