ABQ Musicians Connect is for anyone in the Albuquerque area who plays, sings, writes, or produces music — from bedroom beginners to gigging pros. No auditions, no gatekeeping, no genre requirements.
The goal is simple: make it easy for local musicians to find each other. Whether you're looking for a bandmate, a co-writer, someone to jam with on weekends, or just people who get excited about the same things you do, this is the place.
What we do:
Casual meet-and-greets where you can talk shop and swap contacts
Open jams and song circles (bring an instrument or just listen)
Collaboration matchups — find your drummer, your vocalist, your producer
Occasional workshops, gear swaps, and show-and-tells
This group is new. It will grow and take shape as people join and events happen — the members here now will have a real say in what it becomes.
You don't need to be "good enough." If you make music, or want to, you belong here. Come as you are — the whole point is connection first, collaboration when it clicks
