A playful and reflective creative workshop about slowing down, connecting and leaving feeling a little more inspired.
In a world that moves quickly and increasingly lives through screens, this workshop is an invitation to pause, put everyday life aside and reconnect with yourself, with others, and with your own creativity.
We'll explore different creative and fun exercises in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. No artistic experience is needed. There is no right or wrong way to create, as the focus is on the experience, not the result.
What to expect
✨ A gentle introduction and a few playful connection exercises 💭 A moment to reflect on what you might want to release or make space for 🎨 An intuitive creative session to explore those feelings through your own artwork 🫶 A small exchange of kindness, where participants get to connect with each other 🌱 A closing reflection to notice how you feel compared to when you arrived
The intention is not to create a “perfect” piece of art, but to create a little space to play, express, connect and recharge.
Come as you are, bring an open mind, and leave with something you created that means something to you, a little more connection, and hopefully a lighter heart. 🌈

About the host:
Hello! My name is Weim and as a creative artist and people-person who has lived across five different countries, I’m passionate about bringing art and human connection together. In an increasingly digital world, I want to create a space to slow down, play, explore and connect, a little like being kids again, but with more awareness and emotional maturity. :)
I want to offer a space to put everyday life aside, create with your hands and mind, meet others, reconnect with yourself, and hopefully leave feeling lighter, inspired and re-energized.
No artistic experience needed. Just bring yourself, an open heart, and a willingness to be curious, vulnerable and have some fun.

Absent is a phone-free creative third space and café in Principe Real where time is yours again. The kind you used to waste beautifully.
Every experience at Absent is designed around presence.
