Abstract strategy games at Stardust Video & Coffee

Hello! This is a quarterly event for people who like playing, or want to try, abstract strategy games.

I'll have:

• Chess: checkmate opponent's king
• Codenames: word association
• Chinese Checkers°: race to move marbles
• Decrypto: team game communicating codes
• Dominos: tile-matching
• Go*: territorial game capturing board area
• Mancala*: picking up and placing stones
• Onitama: martial arts using rotating move cards
• Oraklos: tactical game focused on positioning
• Shobu*: stone-moving strategy
• Tzaar: stacking game
• The Royal Game of Ur+: ancient race game
• Quoridor*: maze-building race

Board materials: ° = tin, * = wood, + = cloth

Note: if you'd like to bring a game, please Google to see if it's considered an abstract strategy game. Typically, these don't have stories or themes.
