Troy & Jin – DRAWetc
Troy is a versatile illustrator in digital and analog, a lover of kittens and guns and a discovery from the Raw Art Wrestling competition that brought her to Prague and our crew 😉. Jin is a strategist, brander and storyteller. She looks for meaningful spaces to illustrate in the strategic phases of projects.

What are the challenges for the illustration as an applied craft and the illustrators who are ready to follow the tasks? How about the fetish of AI? Why cares about the analog illustration? We DRAWetc. 😘

Zuzana Bramborová
Xao is a gallery and bookshop based in Prague. The exhibitions are devoted to the field of illustration, graphics and book culture in general. We’re organising art workshops, readings, book launches. Our book case is focused on picture books and comics, including more experimental project in sometimes very small print runs. We present books and prints from Czech and foreign illustrators and comic artists, from established artists to students or interesting amateurs.

The presentation will show how small, non-commercial publishing collectives works and what is it like to live in the Black Books world. We will also explore why is important to make books that will never be a bestsellers.

Borbala Kiss
I am currently working as a UI designer at the Prague Studio. I graduated as a graphic designer with a passion for visual storytelling and illustrations. My interest in movie posters stems from my university studies in cinema history and theory, that I could explore both in Budapest and Prague.

What makes a good movie poster? What are the rules of creating a movie poster? And who are the ones breaking all the rules? In this presentation we will dive into the beautiful world of movie poster illustrations, getting to know some very influential designers and their work within the movie industry.
