THIS IS A CRITIQUE GROUP FOR WRITERS OF FANTASY AND SCI-FI. ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME!
Whether you're working through your first draft or well into your umpteenth, if you're looking for a fresh pair of eyes, this group is for you!
Draft Quest Writer's Group has sessions four days a week, both Virtual and In-Person. Each group has a Mod to keep things on track and guide the fun.
VIRTUAL: Wednesday & Sunday
IN-PERSON: Tuesday & Thursday
We work out of Google Drive, using it for both submissions and critiques, and have a very active Discord community with threads dedicated to current reads, daily writing accountability, writing contest submissions, and much more! We also have an active Beta Read group for full novels that take place several times a year.
Virtual sessions are conducted over Discord and Zoom, while in-person sessions are held at Chicago bars. (We are known to haunt Off Color Brewery and Solemn Oath!)
There are only three rules:
1. Be a sharer—everyone must contribute and everyone gets a turn!,
2. When sharing—be honest but be nice!,
3. Last but not least—come and have fun!!!
