January Monthly Social Meetup - South Bay (Saturdays)
Details
Aces, aros and friends are invited to come for good conversation, meeting like-minded people and sharing in knowledge, crafts, games and commiseration at the Odd Fellows Lodge in Mountain View. We are asking you to mask up for this indoor event, masks are provided.
Happy New Year, everyone! We are kicking off the monthly social meetups of the year on third weekends in the South Bay. Meetings in Mountain View will be on Saturday at 1pm in 2026 due to location availability. They rotate each month, going to San Francisco and East Bay as well, usually on Sundays.
Asexual and aromantic folks and all the rainbow community are all welcome to attend for good conversation, snacks and occasional games. Anyone exploring asexuality is also welcome, with any questions you have, but this is a social gathering rather than an outreach event. The rainbow community consists of any queer person and children, partners, parents, best friends, cool cousins, family-of-choice and other loved ones.
The Castro Street entrance will be open and accessible. The Caltrain and VTA have a station one block away. There are several parking garages around downtown. The location is a reserved downstairs room with seating, a bathroom and a kitchen. Limited snacks and water will be provided. You are encouraged to bring any craft or game you wish to do or share on this afternoon, and any additions to the snacks are appreciated. The Hong Kong Bakery next door is recommended for a quick lunch, there are many other restaurants around.
We are actively looking for volunteers to host this event, as well as to strengthen our team and grow our community around the Bay Area. If you're interested to help out in the future, please let us know!
