Free Garden Class - Native Plant Gardening
Arvada Community Garden, 9195 W 57th Ave, Arvada, CO, USThere is a growing interest in including native plants in gardens. How is native plant gardening different from growing ornamentals? We will discuss how best to care for wild plants and what to expect from these beauties.

Includes selection of potting soil, containers to use, germination, lighting, watering, fertilizing, hardening off and final planting. Free Garden Class - Xeriscapes, Zeroscapes, & Pollinators
Arvada Community Garden, 9195 W 57th Ave, Arvada, CO, USDo you pronounce the first two words in this title the same way or think they mean the same thing? Learn the differences between what most people think of as "zeroscapes" and true xeriscapes and how to ensure you include support for pollinators. You will also learn when some native plants are good to use in xeriscapes and when non-native plants may be appropriate.
