Delve into the land of container gardening and learn many of the advantages compared to traditional gardening: accessible, less weeds, less tools needed, container mobility, decorative planters, great for the novice. There are a vast number of ground covers well suited for the Colorado landscape. This presentation includes annual and perennial varieties. Many are short and hug the ground creating an ideal "living mulch," others are several inches tall and several feet in width. This will include a number of woody shrubs. We'll discuss the exposure, too, sun, shade, partial, and waterwise.
