• What is IoT? History, background

• Why is this important?

• Challenges and problems in making IoT happen?

• What are the Potential dangers too...

• Several concrete examples of real life IoT

• Where IoT is not the answer to everything i.e. this is not the Swiss army knife to all problems

• Where it is appropriate?

• Who is working on different aspects of IoT today? (companies, researchers, standards)

• Since this is still relatively new - what are the opportunities or gaps that folks can help address or contribute to? And where can one pitch in?
