What we’re about
This is a mountain bike group for acoustic (non E-bike) mountain bikers who want to ride cross country on single tracks in the San Gabriels, Santa Monicas, Cleveland National Forest, San Bernardino Mountains and everything around LA County and beyond. We are older mountain bikers and are not as fast as we used to be, but are still up for technical rides, such as Strawberry Peak, Corral Canyon/Backbone trail or Santa Ana River trail.
If you are a fit mountain biker who is willing to drive to favorite trails and spend the better part of the day pedaling, then this group is for you. We usually like to arrive at the trailhead at 9 am and finish times may vary. We expect riders to bring their own snacks, lunch if needed, enough water, spare tube in case of a flat, basic tools and dress according to the weather.
We ride together. No one left behind.
E-bikers may join us, but we expect you to ride with us.
The rides will be described and rated for technical difficulty and strenuousness. You are responsible for assessing your skill level and choosing the ride accordingly.
You accept responsibility for your own safety.
