Action Camping in Laguna Mountains

The campground is located 50 miles east of San Diego, California.
Take I-8 to the Sunrise Highway (State Route S1) exit. Go approximately 15 miles north to Laguna/El Prado Campground exit, just beyond the 26 mile marker, and turn left. Just past the entry fee station go to the right to El Prado Group Campground. BIG SAGE is the first campsite on the left with the parking lot at the entrance to the campsite.

$70 per person includes camping fee, meals, beverages (Friday dinner, Saturday morning full breakfast, Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday continental breakfast.), parking**. Such a deal!!

The campground sits at an elevation of 5,600 feet, forested with pines and oaks with plenty of shade. TENT ONLY – no RV’s. Mostly flat, shaded tent sites. Water and vault toilet at site. Showers available next door at Laguna Campground.
